In the morning of August 3, 2019, the High-Tech Business Incubator cooperated with Vu Phong Energy Company to organize a workshop on sharing renewable energy, especially building and developing solar energy systems.

Renewable energy is the development trend of the world to replace fossil energy sources that are running out. Vietnam is considered as a country with great potential for developing this industry, with high solar radiation intensity in the world, an average of 4.6 kWh / m2 / day, the average number of sunshine hours in a year from 2,500 - 3,000 hours and long coastline over 3,260 km, sea breeze year round.

In addition, the State has also launched many policies and incentives for investors to encourage the development of renewable energy sources. However, so far, clean energy sources (solar, wind, biomass) in Vietnam have not really developed in line with the potential.

Mr. Le Thanh Nguyen - Director of High-Tech Business Incubator (SHTP-IC) said that this workshop is aimed at sharing and discussing development trends in the solar industry and opportunities, the challenge for innovation startup companies in the field of renewable energy can be developed.
