This year, HIPOC aims to (i) continue promoting the results achieved from HIPOC 2017 and 2018, further strengthening the relationship among the Leaders of the IP Offices and WIPO; (ii) create opportunities for leaders of IP Offices, especially recently appointed leaders, to directly participate in direct dialogue on development cooperation topics for mutual trust, cooperation activities and sustainability of the achieved results; (iii) create a leadership learning forum in the region; (iv) discussion and feedback on WIPO technical experiences, tools and methods of cooperation.

The meeting brought together the heads of eight IP agencies of South Asia, 10 Southeast Asian countries, the Islamic Republic of Iran and Mongolia, especially the attendance of WIPO Assistant Director - Mr. Naresh Prasad said that WIPO is interested in the area is considered very active in innovation activities.

The trip to attend the HIPOC chain of activities, the Singapore IP Week, sideline activities, the signing ceremony of the Cooperation Plan and bilateral meetings with IPOS, UKIPO of Director Dinh Huu Phi and the delegation of the National Office of Intellectual property of Vietnam has successfully achieved and achieved many remarkable results.
