Vietnamese people have also created AI applications not inferior to foreign applications. Scientists say AI has been applied to help automate distribution, traffic control and customer demand forecasting, and manage inventory in the retail industry.

Artificial intelligence also helps diagnose the disease at an early stage of development. Local hospitals have established "smart hospitals" that do not use traditional paperwork. AI also helps businesses improve customer service.

In the banking sector, AI is used by TP Bank to develop digital banking. According to TP Bank CEO Nguyen Hung, TAio chatbot on Facebook Fanpage has been used since the end of 2017 to improve service quality.

This application helps TP Bank respond to 1.5 million customers making transactions at the same time.

In the retail industry, FPT Shop, The Gioi Di Dong and Lotte Mart use the Insider application to forecast customer behavior to help them better reach their target customers.

This app analyzes customer behavior to find people who only make purchases during promotional campaigns, customers with high purchasing power and customer buying cycle.

At Nguyen Kim retail chain, chatbots are used to quickly answer customer questions, categorize customers for better management, and customer complaints and subscriptions. Also through chatbot, Nguyen Kim can send messages to every customer.

Meanwhile, Prudential Vietnam uses Prubot, an AI application that automatically provides customers with answers about product information and advertising campaigns, and helps to set up appointments with insurance agents.
