Mr. Tuan said, with the aim of promoting the socialization of traceability activities to serve international integration and improving the efficiency of state management, ensuring the quality and safety of products, goods. At the same time, it helps identify and trace the origin of products, focusing on specific products, OCOP products of the Province, thereby strictly controlling at all stages: production, storage, transportation, consume; protect the health and interests of consumers, ensure publicity and transparency of traceability information of products and goods in the market.

In implementation of the Prime Minister's Decision No. 100 / QD-TTg of January 19, 2019, approving the project on the implementation, application and management of traceability systems, the People's Committee of Dong Thap province has issued the Plan to deploy, apply and manage the traceability system in Dong Thap province for the period of 2020 - 2025.

Accordingly, in 2020, Dong Thap aims to have at least 200 production and business organizations and individuals in the province receive training and knowledge on product and goods quality standards; deploy, apply and manage the traceability system.

Traceability of products of 03 facilities producing key products, local specialties based on electronic information application using QR code and barcode; Issue at least 02 local standards or technical regulations on traceability; Building and operating a Portal of product and goods traceability in the province, connecting with the province's electronic portal and the national product and goods traceability portal.

According to the Director of Dong Thap Department of Science and Technology, to implement and manage the traceability system for key local goods, Dong Thap aims to have 100% of organizations and individuals by 2025, there will be trained production and business organizations, individuals in the province in the implementation, traceability and management of traceability systems.
