The Thua Thien Hue High-Tech Park Project was developed by the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province to concretize the guidelines stated in the Politburo's Resolution No. 54-NQ / TW of December 10, 2019, on construction and development of Thua Thien Hue province to 2030, vision to 2045 and Resolution No. 83 / NQ-CP dated May 27, 2020 of the Government promulgating the Government's Action Program to implement Resolution No. 54-NQ / TW 10/12/2019 of Politburo.

At the meeting, on the basis of the content of the summary report of the representatives of the Department of Science and Technology of Thua Thien Hue province on the draft project of Thua Thien Hue High-Tech Park, representatives of the departments and agencies actively gave exchanging, contributing ideas to build the project.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Dam Bach Duong, Director of the Department of High Technology highly appreciated the positive and proactive participation of the Department of Science and Technology of Thua Thien Hue province as well as related departments, agencies and branches of the province in preparing and making comments on the contents of Thua Thien Hue High-Tech Park project; shared with the difficulties and obstacles in the process of making the project, and also suggested the province to focus on the advantages and typical local strengths in the relationship of connection and mutual support with the Danang Tech Park  - is a high-tech park with a geographical distance not far from the area planned to build Thua Thien Hue High-Tech Park and is in the stage of focusing on attracting investment.

The Department of High Technology is committed to actively implementing the guidance of the leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology in coordinating and supporting the Department of Science and Technology of Thua Thien Hue province as well as the related departments, branches of the province in the process of deploy to build and complete the project of Thua Thien Hue High-Tech Park at the highest level. The completed Thua Thien Hue High-Tech Park project will serve as a basis for the Ministry of Science and Technology to collect comments from relevant ministries, branches and agencies before appraisal and submission to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Phan Thien Dinh, Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee thanked and acknowledged the practical and quality contributions of departments, branches and branches of the province to the technology park project. High notes of practical and timely support from the High Technology Department, Ministry of Science and Technology; identifying this as one of the important tasks of the province in the process of building and developing Thua Thien Hue to become a city under central authority.
