Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam had a working session and listened to the progress report on implementation of the Vietnam Encyclopedia Compilation Project; Project on developing Vietnamese digital knowledge system.
At the meeting, the standing body of the two projects reviewed and discussed plans to coordinate and support each other in implementing tasks with the goal of creating and disseminating knowledge to the people.
In which, the delegates exchanged and analyzed about new methods and ways in organizing the compilation of Vietnamese Encyclopedia with the support of the digitized Vietnamese Knowledge System.
Specifically, with about 60,000 items to be compiled by the Encyclopedia of Vietnam, the digitized Vietnamese Knowledge System project will build a software platform (referred to as the open Encyclopedia) to call for scientists. Study, people, community participate in compiling content of the items.
From the raw data source, scientists have more time to review, process and increase the knowledge content in each item. Individuals and organizations participating in the development of the open Encyclopedia will be acknowledged and honored by the community in accordance with the principles of the digitized Vietnamese Knowledge System: Knowledge sharing - Connecting communities - Promoting creativity. |
