On July 15, the Ministry of Information and Communications officially submitted documents to the People's Committees of Bac Kan, Binh Dinh, Ha Giang, Lai Chau, Quang Tri, Thai Binh and Tuyen Quang provinces to coordinate the pilot implementation of digital transformation in some Commune.
On June 3, 2020, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 749 approving the National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, orientation to 2030. The Vision Determination Program to 2030 Vietnam becomes a digital nation, stability and prosperity, pioneering the testing of new technologies and models; to renovate fundamentally and comprehensively the management and administration activities of the Government, production and business activities of enterprises, the way of living and working of the people, developing a safe, humane and wide digital environment.
The Ministry of Information and Communications said that in order to implement the program of national digital transformation synchronously and effectively, the Ministry of Information and Communications will coordinate with organizations and enterprises to support the pilot of digital transformation in some communes with the aim of socio-economic development, improving the material and spiritual life of the people, thereby drawing experiences and expanding the model.
According to the Computerization Department, Ministry of Information and Communications, the communes with difficult economic conditions expected to be selected to pilot the digital transformation are: Vi Huong (Bach Thong district, Bac Kan) with typical products are dried bananas, dried bamboo shoots, bath heirloom herbal; Nhon Ly (Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh) with the typical service of sea tourism; Nam Ty (Hoang Su Phi district, Ha Giang) is known for its specialty of green tea, tourist of terraced fields; Hua Na (Than Uyen district, Lai Chau) has a typical product of Seng Cu rice; Huong Phung (Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri), near the Vietnam - Laos border, has typical products such as avocado, passion fruit, coffee; Minh Lang (Vu Thu district, Thai Binh) has traditional embroidery village products; Trang Da (Tuyen Quang city, Tuyen Quang) has a specific product, which is clean agriculture.
One of the pilot contents is to support the development of a digital conversion program / project for the commune, which identifies objectives, contents, solutions, and steps for digital transformation; Identify the technologies and used digital platforms. At the same time, support equipment and tools for digital conversion for the commune based on the development of selected products / services. Each commune will select at least one key product / service, specific to the locality, to conduct digital transformation.
Along with that, the Ministry of Information and Communications also cooperates with organizations and businesses to propagate, raise awareness and guide skills for people in applying digital technology. Promote, introduce on community media, support sales through online trading platforms. |
