This is a title recognized and granted by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City every 2 years in order to honor timely rewards for businesses and entrepreneurs with outstanding achievements in production, business and good compliance of legal provisions; contributing to the budget, contributing to the economic, cultural and social development, building a city with a good quality of life, civilization, modernity, gratitude as well as constantly improving competitiveness and successful integration entry into the international economy.

According to the organization Board, this year's election is to commend and encourage entrepreneurs and businesses in the city to be dynamic, innovative, creative, overcome challenges, and accompany the development of the city. In particular, considering the factor of digital transformation enterprises, application of new technologies in production and management; develop new products and services to serve the market; take initiatives to change models or expand production and business to create new competitive products, bring profits to enterprises, increase incomes for laborers; transforming markets, boldly exploiting and investing diversely into new and potential markets, replacing traditional markets; have initiatives, programs of international economic integration and improve competitiveness for businesses; innovation management, reduce costs for businesses.

In addition, common criteria should be included in the poll, such as revenue, profit, budget contribution (in 2018 and 2019); well performing tax and labor obligations; well implementing legal policies; food safety, environment, fire protection and good social responsibility.

100 enterprises and 100 entrepreneurs who achieved the title will be honored on the occasion of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day on October 13, 2020. Businesses and entrepreneurs participating in the poll download their registration documents at the website: www.hiephoidoanhnghiep.vn and send the selection documents to the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association before August 15, 2020.
