In Ho Chi Minh City, the strategic cooperation signing ceremony was held between the Investment Fund - Group - Startup aiming to transform the number of value chains in the high-tech aquaculture industry. The signing ceremony is carried out under the support of the National Center for Innovation Startups (NSSC) - Department of Market Development and Science and Technology Enterprises.
In the recent years, the shrimp industry in particular and seafood in Vietnam say they have long affirmed their important position in the country and international exports with the export target of 4.4 billion USD in 2021.
According to international reports, Vietnam has been one of the largest shrimp suppliers in the US and Japan markets for many years. These are inherently two difficult markets in terms of food quality, especially fresh seafood, showing the strength and potential of the shrimp industry.
In addition to the industry's development capabilities, Vietnam's shrimp industry also faces many challenges, such as the ability to control disease, monitor the health of farmed shrimp and methods of preservation to ensure shrimp quality when it comes to customers.
Accordingly, the signing units include: Haicorp Hi-Tech Agricultural Development and Investment Group Joint Stock Company - Investment fund to promote high-tech agricultural development; Tep Bac Limited Company; XIXO Industrial and Construction Digitalization Joint Stock Company; Vietnam Startup TV, national innovative startup television; VIFO insurance startup; BIO.AZ Vietnam Limited Company - a science and technology enterprise specializing in the production of microbiological products has signed a cooperation agreement.
Thereby, the parties are committed to accompanying and applying technology, using each other's resources and advantages for sustainable development. Haicorp Group combines with investment funds in the agricultural sector, originating investment funds, and the parties towards investment in high-tech shrimp farming technology of over $ 2 million by 2021 and towards a scale of 15 million USD in 2022. This is a sign that innovation and start-ups and contributes step by step to the economic value chain. |
