According to information from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality, based on the Official Letter No.1886 / VP-KT on introducing enterprises to participate in the National Quality Award (GTCLQG) in 2021 of the document Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee office, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality announced inviting organizations and enterprises in the city to participate in the national quality award in 2021.

Regarding the conditions for participation, organizations and enterprises have legal status, have continuous production, business and service activities in Vietnam, do not violate provisions of law for at least 36 months time to register for the prize.

The National Quality Award includes: National Quality Gold Award and National Quality Award. Winning organizations and enterprises have been awarded the National Target Cup, Certificate of the Ministry of Science and Technology. The Ministry of Science and Technology considers and selects a maximum of 20 enterprises with the Best National Quality Gold Award to request the Prime Minister to award the Certificate of Merit for outstanding achievements in improving productivity, product quality, and productsand goods quality.

Regarding the interests of the winning organizations and enterprises, organizations and enterprises that have achieved the National award are allowed to announce, propagate and advertise on the mass media or other forms of introduction about their units to use the logo of the the national award on products and publications of organizations and enterprises.

Organizations and enterprises that won the National Quality Gold Award were nominated by the Ministry of Science and Technology to participate in regional and international quality awards. The winning organizations and enterprises are given priority to borrow capital from the National Science and Technology Development Fund, the National Technological Innovation Fund, the Science and Technology Development Fund in the ministries, branches, and provinces and other funds as provided for by law; to give priority to participation in national programs and projects on technology development, transfer, and improvement of productivity and quality.

Over 20 years of establishment and development, the Award has attracted special attention and created a reputation for businesses, management agencies as well as consumers in society; honor enterprises with excellent achievements in improving product and service quality, competitiveness and operational efficiency, integration with the regional and world economy.
