Proposal to produce and use electronic bracelets to monitor quarantined people during the Covid-19 epidemic
The Ministry of Information and Communications proposed relevant agencies and units to direct domestic enterprises to produce electronic bracelets with socialization funds.

According to the assessment of the National Steering Committee on Covid-19 Prevention and Control, the Steering Committee, the Ministry of Health has specific instructions on the management of centralized isolation, especially the handover of cases after the end of the quarantine period.  However, over the past time, there are still a number of concentrated isolation facilities that have not strictly complied with current regulations.

Moreover, the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic in the world is still very complicated, continuously recording variations of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, continuing to increase the number of infected people and deaths. Therefore, the risk of epidemic penetration is very high from people entering the country and spreading easily to the community.

In order to more closely manage the implementation of regulations on centralized isolation and post-isolation management to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic, the Ministry of Information and Communications has sent a document to the National Steering Committee on Covid-19 prevention and control -19 proposes to apply a dedicated bracelet to support the monitoring of people in concentrated isolation and after centralized isolation.

It is expected that the time to research and customize the product to suit the requirements and mass production in large quantities is about 4 weeks after the approved technical plan and policy.
