Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Deputy Director of the Directorate Ha Minh Hiep emphasized that testing is one of the pillars of conformity assessment activities (DGSPH). Today, testing activities play a very important role in production, economics, trade, scientific research and technological development. In particular, in the context that Vietnam is transforming strongly, continuing to integrate and integrate globally, improving the signing of free trade agreements, this process opens up many opportunities, while also posing challenges. There are few challenges such as requiring control, improving product quality, and enhancing the competitiveness of businesses.

Within the framework of the workshop, the participants also presented a number of presentations related to the accreditation of testing organizations in Vietnam such as improving the efficiency of product quality testing activities; Testing service activities comply with the requirements of TCVN ISO/IEC 17025... The workshop ended with a discussion, answering difficulties, obstacles, inadequacies, and limitations between state management agencies on testing activities.
