This year, the whole province had 10,248 products participating in the contest from all grades. Primary and secondary schools awarded 632 school-level prizes, and selected 952 products to submit to the district-level contest. Through the selection rounds, 188 prizes were awarded at the district level and 218 products continued to be sent to the provincial competition. The Organization Board recognized 02 First prizes, 07 Second prizes, 09 Third prizes and 24 Encouragement prizes, in addition to selecting 20 best products to participate in the 20th National Youth and Children's Creativity Competition in 2024.
The competition has created a necessary intellectual playground for students, helping to improve their creative research skills and bring about remarkable achievements. Although the number of products participating in the competition has decreased, it still maintains over 10,000 products, showing the students' sense of participation and dedication. The proportion of participating products to the total number of students reached 5.97%, with a relatively even distribution among all levels. Notably, this year's products were more innovative and creative than before, focusing on practical issues, such as fire alarms, solving the problem of salt water contamination, and responding to the problem of drowning in young children.
To improve the quality of the contest in the future, the Organization Board will continue to propose relevant agencies and sectors to strengthen propaganda work, in order to raise awareness of the purpose and significance of the contest. Support from businesses will also be encouraged so that contestants can complete and commercialize their products.
In addition, the education sector and mass organizations need to work closely together to promote the creative movement among students more strongly, while promoting the results achieved in recent years.
