Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Ngo Anh Tin - Member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Science and Technology said: The consolidation work was carried out under the direction of all levels; implemented according to the Projects of the City Party Committee and People's Council; in accordance with the general situation of society.

He emphasized, the handover and related procedures must be carried out continuously; there must be no legal gaps, avoiding congestion in the implementation of the Party and State's direction and the work of serving the people. At the same time, he also expressed his deep concern for the thoughts and aspirations of the civil servants, public employees and workers under the two units after the merger.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Huynh Hoang Men - Member of the City Party Committee, Director of the Department of Information and Communications said: The merger between the two Departments was carried out in the spirit of unity and coordination, aiming to implement the policy of streamlining; towards common development. At the same time, he also expressed his hope that the merger would be carried out in the spirit of solidarity and unity, bringing about optimal operational results in the future.

At the same time, members of the Board of Directors of the two Departments also expressed their views on solidarity, synergy, and mutual support for the common development of the Department of Science and Technology in the future.
