The king of vegetables
This is an extremely nutritious vegetable, always present in high-class dishes.


Asparagus (Asparagus officinalis) is known as the "king of vegetables" thanks to its delicate flavor and outstanding nutritional value. As one of the high-class foods, asparagus is expensive and fluctuates seasonally, but it always maintains a special position in cuisine and nutrition. 
Considered one of the "10 most famous dishes" in the West, asparagus is not only a familiar ingredient in luxury restaurants but is also recommended by nutritionists for its rich vitamin and mineral content. This vegetable contains many vitamins B, vitamin A and trace elements, such as folic acid, selenium, iron, manganese and zinc. In particular, the amount of selenium in asparagus is equal to many types of seafood, such as sea fish and shrimp, helping the body increase its antioxidant capacity and improve the immune system.
