Ha Giang province has proactively applied technology and promoted innovation to create smart experiences for tourists. This not only helps optimize business operations but also supports state management agencies in effectively monitoring tourist destinations.

To concretize Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development and national digital transformation, the tourism industry of Ha Giang province has clearly identified key tasks in the coming period. The tasks include raising awareness of digital transformation, applying digital technology in tourism promotion, digitizing information of relic sites, installing QR codes at tourist attractions to provide multilingual and interactive information, as well as piloting the construction of smart kiosks using artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the visitor experience.

According to Vu Thi Mai Huong, Deputy Director of the Ha Giang Tourism Promotion Center, digital transformation not only creates new experiences for tourists but also helps businesses promote services effectively at low cost. Online booking and tour systems help optimize business operations and improve customer service quality. Digitized tourism data will help management agencies easily monitor visitor numbers and tourism trends, thereby developing appropriate policies and developing tourism in a sustainable manner. The center will continue to support businesses in applying technology to marketing and promotion activities and participating in international tourism fairs to deploy the latest technologies.
