The nature of the Mechanical - Automation industry is to research, apply and deploy automatic control systems in industrial production, aiming to achieve high efficiency in controlling machinery. To meet the increasing demands of the industry, there needs to be a synchronous and standardized training program, combined with shared university models, optimizing existing resources.
At the acceptance meeting, the implementation team presented the current status of human resources in the Mechanical - Automation industry in Ho Chi Minh City and proposed a general training program framework. This program is part of the goal of developing human resources to international standards, with training content suitable for domestic and foreign needs. It is proposed to pilot the program at one or two universities to demonstrate the feasibility of the model, with evaluation of its effectiveness before expanding to other institutions.
In addition, the group also proposed 10 overall strategic solutions to build international human resources for the Mechanical - Automation industry. These solutions include designing new training programs, developing digital skills and foreign language proficiency for students, improving the quality of lecturers, investing in facilities, and strengthening connections among universities, businesses and international cooperation. These solutions all aim to create an effective educational ecosystem, meeting the requirements of human resource development in the era of Industry 4.0.
