The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry to focus on ensuring that digital infrastructure is invested in a modern and synchronous manner, creating a foundation for the development of the digital economy, digital society and digital government. He acknowledged the Ministry's efforts in implementing Resolution No.57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, and proposed specific solutions to improve the effectiveness of science and technology activities in the period of 2025 and the following years.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Science and Technology to carry out five key tasks. First, resolutely implement relevant Resolutions, raise awareness of the role of science and technology, and focus on the goal of putting people and businesses at the center. Second, review and amend legal documents in a synchronous and unified manner to create a favorable legal environment for business and innovation. Third, accelerate the development of digital infrastructure and strategic technologies, including completing fiber optic cables, deploying 5G networks, and building modern data centers.

Finally, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed the importance of developing high-quality human resources and encouraging innovation. The Ministry should prioritize the development of strategic industries, promote links between the State, scientists and businesses, and facilitate research and application activities. He also encouraged international cooperation to leverage resources and technology from foreign partners, thereby improving the effectiveness of state management and ensuring that Vietnam can overcome challenges in the current context of global competition.
