Vietnam - US aimed cooperation in technology transfer, application of advanced farming techniques in agriculture

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MARD) announced that on June 6 (US time), in Washington D.C., Minister of MARD Do Duc Duy attended a roundtable conference with many leading enterprises and corporations of the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC).

New chapter in two-way agricultural trade cooperation
Eight agreements were signed at the event, with a total value of $1.1 billion. Together with the Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) signed earlier in Iowa, Ohio and Maryland, the total value of the agreement to purchase US agricultural products is nearly $3 billion.
Speaking to the press, Minister Do Duc Duy affirmed: "Up to this point, it can be said that the working trip has been a great success, bringing very positive results." |
