This is the second stop in the nationwide campaign to spread the spirit of creative entrepreneurship to key economic regions, especially the Northern Midlands and Mountains. With the theme “Digital transformation in sustainable agricultural development”, the contest emphasizes the role of technology in improving production efficiency, traceability and increasing the value of agricultural products, contributing to the construction of a modern, smart and green agriculture in line with the development trend of the agricultural sector in the context of strong digital transformation.

The competition is deployed nationwide, targeting 6 major economic regions, under the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, and has become a key annual program until 2030. Participants in the competition are individuals, startup groups, students, lecturers, researchers, organizations inside and outside the region with ideas and projects suitable for the field of high-tech agriculture. Solutions related to digital transformation in production, processing, preservation and traceability are encouraged, especially technologies, such as AI, IoT, Big Data, Blockchain, robots, drones, etc. to promote the management and development of smart agriculture. The projects will go through 3 rounds: preliminary, semi-final and final, in which, the groups that pass the preliminary round will be trained to improve their startup capacity to best prepare for the market and investors.

After the final round, high-potential projects will be selected to participate in support programs, such as pre-incubation, official incubation and startup acceleration in 2026. This activity not only helps ideas become real businesses but also aims at long-term support, contributing to building a high-tech agricultural startup ecosystem with competitive capacity and sustainable development, accompanying the digital transformation of Vietnam's agricultural sector.

Through the Competition, the Organization Board hopes to stimulate the spirit of innovation in regions, take advantage of local advantages and create momentum to promote the strong application of high technology in agriculture - a field that plays an important role in economic development and ensuring national food security. At the same time, the event also opens up opportunities to connect local resources with the domestic and foreign innovation startup ecosystem.
