Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung emphasized that the close connection between science and technology, innovation and digital transformation is the key to help Vietnam develop in the right direction according to modern trends.
Digital transformation has become a vital factor in the context of the 4.0 industrial revolution. The application of advanced digital technologies, such as Big Data, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is creating strong improvements in operational and management efficiency in businesses.
To improve the quality of human resource training in the Mechanical - Automation industry, the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City has organized an acceptance advisory council for the project of training international-level human resources in this field, presided by Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education. It was carried out by Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hieu Giang.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology has organized an Advisory Council to accept the scientific and technological task to "Orient the development of eco-tourism associated with OCOP products in Can Gio district until 2030". This task was carried out by the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies. It was carried by MSc. Tran Van Phuong.

At the 16th meeting of the Vietnam-Belarus Intergovernmental Committee on economic, trade and scientific-technical cooperation held recently, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien and Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in all fields.

From March 25-26, 2025, the Vietnamese delegation, led by Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui The Duy, attended the Science Diplomacy Ministerial Conference organized by UNESCO in Paris, France.
