On July 10, 2024, in Kien Giang province, a scientific workshop "Application of science and technology in Kien Giang province - Current situation and solutions" took place by Kien Giang University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade and Kien Giang Department of Science and Technology. The workshop attracted nearly 200 delegates who are experts and scientists from universities, research institutes, departments/industries of provinces/cities.

In the afternoon of July 11, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology coordinated with the Department of Policy - General Department of Taxation and the Department of Planning - Finance, Ministry of Science and Technology to organize a Conference "Business’ Science and Technology Development Fund - Motivation to promote investment in science and technology."

On July 12, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology organized a scientific conference "Promoting the role of intellectuals to meet the requirements of rapid and sustainable national development in the new period" and "Developing science and technology to serve the cause of industrialization and modernization in the context of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration". The workshop aimed to receive more opinions to complete the drafts of the Plan to implement the 2 Action Programs (No. 49-CTrHD/TU and No. 54-CTrHD/TU).

On July 6, 2024, in Quang Ngai, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Quang Ngai province coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, Department of Education and Training of Quang Ngai province and Quang Ngai Provincial Youth Union to organize the opening and qualifying round of the second Quang Ngai Robot Innovation Contest, 2024.

On July 10, the final round of the 15th Creative Contest for Youths and Children - 2024 in Ha Tinh province (Contest) took place with the participation of 104 excellent solutions selected from the locality, unit.

The cooperation agreement on telecommunications and information technology for the period of 2019-2023 was signed by VNPT Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group and the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province in July 2019. Promoting the results achieved in the previous period of cooperation, VNPT Group and Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee have continued to sign a cooperation agreement for the period of 2024-2030 on digital transformation.

On June 27, 2024, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province Department of Science and Technology (Science and Technology) organized a conference to launch Ba Ria - Vung Tau fisheries innovation competition in 2024 with the theme "Green Transformation - Innovattion to develop a sustainable seafood industry". The competition aims to find and develop technological solutions and innovations aimed at enhancing value and solving problems of the fisheries industry in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
